What We Do
Expert-Level Training Courses
Technitrain was created to meet the demand for expert-level SQL Server training courses in the UK. If you're fed up with going on a SQL Server course and finding that it's too basic, or that you know more about the subject than the trainer, then Technitrain courses are for you.
Our trainers are experts in their field: Microsoft MVPs, SQL Server MCMs, Analysis Services Maestros, authors, bloggers, and speakers at conferences such as the PASS Summit and SQLBits. They are consultants with years of real-world experience they can pass on to you; you can be sure that they know what they are talking about because the evidence is on your bookshelf and all over the internet. Trainers on previous courses include Chris Webb, Jen Stirrup, Thomas Kejser, Andy Leonard, Dave Ballantyne, Marco Russo and Christian Bolton.
Technitrain courses cover the full Microsoft SQL Server stack: we run courses on SQL Server engine performance tuning, TSQL, Integration Services, Analysis Services (Multidimensional and Tabular), MDX, PowerPivot and DAX.
We only run public training courses. However, if you would like one of our trainers to run a private training course at your offices we will be happy to put you in contact with them.
Bring Your Own Device
We operate a bring-your-own device policy on our courses. We do not provide PCs for practical work and encourage you to bring your own laptop so you can take your work away with you at the end of the course. Similarly we do not provide printed training materials in most cases, with trainers providing their slides in electronic format.
Most of our courses are run in central London, although we do occasionally run courses in other locations. We can recommend reasonably-priced accommodation near to all of our training locations.
