Analysis Services Tabular Workshop

Who is it for?

This two-day course is aimed at BI professionals who want to learn how to build models with Analysis Services Tabular. The focus of the course is Analysis Services Tabular 2016, but most topics are relevant to Analysis Services Tabular 2012 and 2014 too.

The goal of the course is to teach you how to build your own Analysis Services Tabular models for analytics and reporting. All the attendees will receive a copy of the new book “Tabular Modelling in SQL Server Analysis Services”. To learn about the DAX language, which is essential for querying and creating calculations on SSAS Tabular, we recommend you attend the "Mastering DAX" course that follows on immediately after this course.

Trainer

Alberto Ferrari is a Business Intelligence consultant. Alberto has helped several software houses to build complex BI solutions, from the OLTP system to the final OLAP cubes, providing planning hints throughout the development lifecycle. He is an author too, having worked on "Expert Cube Development with Microsoft SQL Server 2008" with Marco Russo and Chris Webb, and "Microsoft PowerPivot for Excel 2010: Give Your Data Meaning" and "The Definitive Guide To DAX" with Marco Russo.

In the extraordinary case where the course is cancelled a full refund will be given to all paid registrants. Crossjoin Consulting will not refund any other amount paid by registrants to other companies, including travel expenses and hotel reservations.
